About the municipality
Tubbergen lies
in the north-east of the Netherlands near the German border and
stretches out over 36324,8 acre. It consists of nine
villages: Tubbergen, Albergen, Geesteren, Fleringen,
Harbrinkhoek-Mariaparochie, Langeveen, Manderveen, Reutum, Vasse
and three townships: Haarle, Hezingen and Mander. It has
20.000 inhabitants. Most people live in the village
Tubbergen, which is the geographic and administrative centre
of the municipality.
